Brainerd Lakes Safe Ride is dedicated to enhancing safety on our roadways through education & programming for residents & visitors in the Brainerd Lakes area.

How Safe Ride Works

If you or a friend are impaired & at a participating bar or establishment:

• Let your bartender know you need a ride home or to a hotel

• They’ll fill out a voucher with the address home or hotel &

• Call the cab company to pick you up & bring you safely home

As an incentive to not drink and drive Brainerd Lakes Safe Ride provides up to $15 towards a cab ride home. Patrons are responsible for any overage.
